This is the site today. There was a large piling rig on site up until last week, but that's gone now. The green thing is new, but it looks more like a piece of boring equipment than a crane base to me?

It might be a pile test rig. These look like crane bases because they are made from crane tower sections. They are used to load a few test piles with weights to test their load bearing capacity. Attached is a picture of a test rig that was used at the UniSA site on north Tce. If it gets removed after a week or to it is a test rig. Test piles are piles that stick out of the ground a metre or so

At this stage it's due to open in just over 20 months. (Term 1 2019)

This equipment is a pile testing rig not a crane base. A picture of a test pile also. 27/may 17.

The pile test rig has been removed and work has started on digging a basement level at the western (Frome road) end of the site.
