It was a giant Precinctcbd brochure for The Gallery apartments. It contained no important information just a few big and glossy people pictures for sales purposes. How funny to waste all that cardboard and paper and postage for not much info.
Anyone else get one.
I got one yesterday. I was all excited wondering what it was. It doesn't show any more info than the website.
I want prices damn it!
Anyone going to go view them as our 'special' invitation says we can?
I walked past the Balfours site a few days ago, it looked dead but I could hear banging coming from inside. Sub contractors getting it ripped out ready for reconstruction maybe?

There was a DA approval to turn the site into a sales centre, which should be well underway.

On the Franklin Street side there is a glass door to what I thought looked like it would be a sales centre.

If anyone is interested, they're having an invitation only open for the display centre, which is onsite balfours, on Monday (9-5). If you want to go, put your name down on 8223 0912.
Else there will be a public opening on the following Saturday.

Had a look inside the show room today from outside. They had the big glass doors open. I told you I heard banging noises behind the wood!!
Looks like the fit out is almost done. Needs furnishings and what ever they are going to use for the displays. Doesn't look too far off.
Got a phone call from someone inviting me to the showroom opening also. He said I had to book an appointment. I think I would rather be anonymous and will wait until the public viewings.

Those towers do look signifcantly taller - don't know whats the deal with that, but the taller the better!
The BS is nice, very '007 look to it lol. Not long till it opens I believe.
As always, thanks to the photo-buddy who takes those photos...

Pikey, those new renders of the towers are awesome - far better than the originals - and they DO appear taller - by at least 3 - 4 floors. Originally I started to count the slit-like sections on the side and was arriving at incredible heights. I hope they are the ones that are finally built. This area of Adelaide is really moving concerning quality high rise. Excellent.
I can see much more of this kind of resi block as the trends towards such really hit Adelaide from the eastern capitals.

Fuck thats hot!, cheers pikey and urbansg
But I thought there were going to be 3 towers at the balfours site, it would be good if this included a few restaurants, cafes, retail outlets and some entertainment venues. Ohwell its still a great development and its definitely going to improve that dead end of town.

The Bus Station site has the 3 towers. Balfours 2.
Cheers

I thought it was the other way round, because the balfours site is larger than the bus station area.
