The piling machine has disappeared already lol. They just had a piling machine on site for a few days so that they could say that site works had started. That's ridiculous.

Seriously, piss off. Your continual pessimistic, negative and dour dribble day after day is enough. If you can't contribute anything constructive without resulting to troll like tactics, find another forum.

These consistently pointless "contributions" from certain members are getting incredibly tedious.

Idk if my tolerance is higher but tbh the pile on is just as unattractive. If you think someone's a troll, don't feed them - ignore instead. If you think their ideas are wrong, challenge their ideas. The aggressive push back and sometimes name-calling are more likely to encourage the behaviour you appall than dissuade it.

Curious though, do the site works constitute a 'start of construction' so making apartments no longer eligible for the 10k government concession?

I couldn't agree more. Being a conservative type I despise the bad language.SRW wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 8:44 pmIdk if my tolerance is higher but tbh the pile on is just as unattractive. We have just recently lost a seat in Parliament due to slow population growth. Melbourne has over 150 cranes while we have a poultry 18.
And some people have the nerve to get upset when I talk about how bad the situation here is in SA ?
We need to get real in this city.

Construction to commence next month according to an article in today's SA BUSINESS JOURNAL.

Not related to this, though noticed today that the church next door has been sold.

Good that church is an eye sore in a prime location.
Think it was just hear say but will be interesting to see if there was any truths in this developer buying the church site.

Didn't they try to place restrictions on the those buying it? Whatever the case, we need something iconic on this corner. I'd cry if it were another student accom.
