The Southern Expressway bridge is being moved into place from Friday night. South Road will be closed as will the Expressway on/off ramps to south road.

Would be great to see this bridge being driven down the road.

The bridge move has been postponed until the weekend of the 25th.

Road closures will be in place from 8pm Friday until 6am Monday.

Disappointing. This project really is poorly managed compared to the T2T which is on schedule.

Do you expect that the workers/construction team from T2T could/will move to Darlington once finished or are they a totally separate builders/construction teams?

Seperate consortiums. I believe T2T will move onto Pym-Regency next.

Darlington did have to rebuild structures due to the Adelaide-Brighton Cement issue, T2T did not.

Well, that will be a new competitive tender and it can be a different consortium altogether. They will also have a different name.

The next section has also not been fully funded yet, so it could be a while before a new tender is released.

From what I have read, the structures were not rebuilt, but extra support structures were added.

When's the last time an entire bridge was moved into place in Adelaide?
