Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Do we know which group? I find the quality of Foodlands varies wildly depending on which group owns the store.
Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Although it was intriguing as to what would happen with their old space if Woolies had relocated, it's good to have another grocer in the mix and hopefully it's a Chapley CRG Foodland.
Any idea on loading dock or if the facade will be extensively changed? It needs a fresh look.

I'd definitely second Chapley. Pasadena and Frewville Foodlands are both great to shop at. I doubt there would be the space at Citi Centre to fully mimic these stores though.SRW wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 10:30 amAlthough it was intriguing as to what would happen with their old space if Woolies had relocated, it's good to have another grocer in the mix and hopefully it's a Chapley CRG Foodland.

I'd put money on Romeo's getting it.

This might be slightly off topic, but Canberra's H&M store is opening next week. We are definitely due for one.

fwiu? Sorry not up with the cool kids anymore.
BTW it looks as though Woolworths at West franklin may have fallen through.
Targeting a "supermarket".

Tenants of Rundle Mall Plaza received an update today with quite a lot of information and some new renders of the interior spaces.
I've attached a pdf for your pleasure.

Myer Bridge Links being re-opened on Levels 1 & 2
Plan seems to rely on people being able to think three dimensionally. I like this, but is the Myer Centre a testament to Adelaidians not being able to look up?a void from the main Ground Floor entrance off Rundle Mall up to and including Level 2

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
It's going to be Zara, if the mini-major tenancy space is only across ground level and level 1 then this isn't really big enough for what H&M have been rolling out across the rest of the country, whereas a shop of this size is more consistent with Zara at Burnside Village.
Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Its a very deep site. I think it would meet their needs. I guess we won't find out till almost this time next year

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
RMP floorplates are approx 3,200 of usable space (i.e. minus stairs, lifts etc). The new mini-major will have just over half of Level 1 (approx 1600-1700sqm) and just under half of the ground floor (approx 1300-1400sqm). Minus a litte bit for new escalators etc that leaves somewhere in the region of 3000sqm total retail space.Patrick_27 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2017 1:22 pmIt's going to be Zara, if the mini-major tenancy space is only across ground level and level 1 then this isn't really big enough for what H&M have been rolling out across the rest of the country, whereas a shop of this size is more consistent with Zara at Burnside Village.
For a comparison:
- H&M Canberra = 2700sqm
- H&M Pacific Warribee = 2000sqm
- H&M Townsville = 2500sqm
- H&M Rockhampton = 2500sqm

What about a Debenhams? A touch small maybe, but they've shown a preparedness to edit their range.
