Good for Jurlique, and nice to see their growing international presence (even if they do get overshadowed by Aesop).
Not to be negative, but hopefully once this opens, they can look at fixing up their North Adelaide store — the upper level windows and signage look atrocious from wear and fading.

OPSM has been unveiled in RMP this morning. Looks good. If everything is up to this standard then it looks like it might be quite a swanky building.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
The only thing I don't understand is why they've plonked OPSM right in the middle of this large block of tenancies, leaving two smaller on each side... Wouldn't it have made more sense to have two larger tenancies (one being OPSM the other going to someone else?) Also, I don't see the Newsagency lasting long where they are now, it works in Rundle Place because you've got a busy foodcourt attached, most of the foot traffic is heading straight towards EB's, JB's and Shin Tokyo in this case.Llessur2002 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 9:09 amOPSM has been unveiled in RMP this morning. No surprise but the Christmas Trees in the mall are dead after 1 and a half weeks.

Somebody's cousin must have a share in a xmas tree farm...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Look, I didn’t have too much of an issue last year, but second time around I feel the Xmas decorations detract more than they add to the Mall. The ply trees are nothing more than cheaply made debris traps. And the the video screens are just another obstacle to overcome in the high trade crowds (would have been better to just pay for live performances of the displayed music).

Now I knew that the site would benefit from the completion of the new busway tunnel!Ben wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 7:40 amHopefully this means the long vacant former sony central site has been leased. The applicant is " Miss Queen Pty Ltd" ...

I assume Aussie Disposals could be relocating here as a result of the Citi Centre Arcade Redevelopment.

Last year's effort was supposed to be a stop gap on the tail end of the Mall renovations. All that's been added this year is a few banners, some white string lights which are great over side streets to create atmosphere at night but not much chop all the way up on the wires, some plywood flat "trees" in little clusters about, and a big screen in a box at each end of the Mall with I don't know what because everyone ignores video screens.SRW wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 5:10 pmLook, I didn’t have too much of an issue last year, but second time around I feel the Xmas decorations detract more than they add to the Mall. The Malls display is absolutely fucking tacky. The ACC need to get their shit together for next year and actually plan something that it unique to Adelaide but traditional enough so that it doesn't look like a Kikki K Christmas display.monotonehell wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2017 5:16 pmLast year's effort was supposed to be a stop gap on the tail end of the Mall renovations. the statue on RMP was removed last night for cleaning ahead of the facade renovations.
The jeweler in citi arcade is closing at end of the year.

You mean the big sculpture? If so that's weird - it's still right outside of my office window...

That's a shame, I only got to visit Bliss once. Nice spot.timtam20292 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 4:20 pmBliss Organic on Compton Street has closed. Building being refurbished for what will become “Wanyoo”
