The tunnel is fantastic! Was great walking through it.

Surprised to see so many people validating their tickets on the free O-Bahn buses to and from the City though.

Most of them were wearing headphones, which is just rude. They don't greet and acknowledge the driver.

Norm, this isn't the 1950s anymore where every John, Dick and Larry stops for a chat with the bus driver and sends a Christmas card to his family. People just want to get from A to B. The driver's job is to do just exactly that.

I think a simple Hi when you get on and Thank you when exiting is enough. The drivers are people as well.

I hope there’s more landscaping to come in cooler months. Considering a decent chunk of prime parkland was sacrificed, the tunnel opening should be fairly anchored with vegetation - especially given the steelwork is less artful than promised.

It’ll be interesting to see how much impact the tunnel has in shifting more people to buses and out of cars for city journeys.

I agree the renders had gorgeous landscaping surrounding the tunnel entry.

Its too hot to be planting now but maybe they do plan to do more landscaping in the next couple of weeks?

The walls look unfinished the way the panelling is only on the bottom half

Its official O-Bahn bus services will begin using the new tunnel from Sunday 17th December.
New timetables for all O-Bahn services are up on the Adelaide Metro website.PDF files showing starting date of 17th December.

Some starting tomorrow evidently.
