Interesting comments about the old Advertiser building.
Whilst I won't quite miss it, I wish the developers could find a way to incorporate some marble elements in the new design to pay homage to the site's history.

Awesome pics Pants. Would u happen to have any pics of the old Advertiser building, out of curiosity?
Anyway, something Adelaide is lacking is glass. I quite like the blue colour of the building. It will add some much needed colour to the fairly dull looking CBD. Im happy too see all these great, shiny, see-through proposals going up around the place. We've finally ridden ourselves of the sandstone/concrete era.
And btw greenchili, what's wrong with the Rialto Towers?

Yes, this is a really good idea. It would be great to see the developers incorporate some marble elements, probabaly vertical columns into the facade of City Central Tower 2.chris wrote:Interesting comments about the old Advertiser building.
