Liberals will end up 24-26.
Majority government.

I think the fact that they ruled out doing a deal with SAB helped them, while Xenophon who was the preferred premier at one stage, came out and said he wasn't interested in being premier, hurt his own chances.

Apparently there's been a two party preferred swing towards Labor, so gonna be interesting to see how much of an impact, in the aftermath, that the redistribution/redrawing of boundaries has had.

So whose gonna lead Labor now? Weatherill, Malinauskus, or Mullighan?

Rau would probably be worse then Marshall’s likely to be.

The redistribution had the libs starting with 27 notional seats and im sure the ALP's internal polling would have been pretty close to the mark - the result was likely not a surprise to any of them.

I think after 16 years in government a reflective tone and philosophical perspective is fair enough.

Hopefully Marshall can articulate a vision for the state as he settles in to government as I've not been able to visualise his big picture and where he wants to take us. Criticisms about oakden and right hand turns for trams are fair enough, but they're hardly forward looking.

Change itself can be a catalyst for optimism and a fresh perspective. At the very least our trading hours will be moving into the 21st century.

Young Vincent Tarzia and even Leon Bignell made this election really interesting. Good on them. It shows if you have a strong foundation in Grassroots campaigning, you’ll smash it. Nick Xenophon struggled to articulate the local issues of his electorate and he copped it.

Marshall in is like Abbott becoming pm and we know how that went
It shows the stupidity of the average voter to vote in a guy that can't put a sentence together and has no policies and ideas apart from the usual cut spending and taxes mantra of a typical conservative . Ah there it is. Selfishness.
He will be a disaster and it will be fun to watch the train wreck
From a development point of view thankfully they've started most of the projects because there won't be much started over the next few years

Guys, let's give him a chance. Now HE will be under scrutiny. If he does well, let's celebrate that. If he doesn't, then we can scrutinise his performance.

Labor got their dues for their mistakes. They need to regroup, address their mistakes and do better next time.

If we want Adelaide to change, we need to fight for it. Lobby, send emails, letters, show that you care about the city and the state. Participate in the democratic process.

We are not in a dictatorship, we can express or views and opinions through the media if we do it right. We just need to be organised, plan well and be fearless.
