Great shot! It's officially on its way up now! That's the first formed structure pour for this job. All of the other exposed concrete here has been exposed by excavation.

In fact, looking at the site, I wouldn't be surprised if the core rose a few levels, then basement excavation and pouring commences.
Still, it's all a guess!

The piles have been poured up to original ground level and then broken down, probably because they have no means of getting the piling rig down into the excavation now.

A close up view of the service core. The wall reinforcing bars are in place and the inner lining of form work is in place. Next the outer formwork is added to be then filled with concrete to form all the walls. Then the whole system jumps to the next level hence the name "jump form work'.
('Slip form work' is slightly different in that the form work moves (very slowly) up continuously. This is used on big jobs that have to be poured as one piece like dam walls and very large chimneys).

Is the larger box in the foreground for the stairs, and the three smaller ones the lifts?
[COM] Re: Renaissance Arcade | 132m | 40 Levels | Realm Apartments
In Whatstheir's picture shows 3 small areas, one medium one and the large one. The large one would probably be for the stairs to allow for a landing and change of direction of the stairs between the floors and the small ones would be lifts, the medium area could be a goods lift to allow for the movement of furniture. There are also several very small spaces at the end closest to the preserved wall. these would be for drains and other services and wiring. Note I have not seen any plans but this would be a logical layout.

I think there are four elevator shafts in the core from the plans I remember seeing somewhere - two next to each other in the south western corner of the core, and two on opposite sides of the corridor on the northern side. Two elevators running full height, and two run only to about level 20 or so. The core would probably step back at the elevator drop off.
The fire stairs are in the south eastern corner.
