Also looks like the feature cross bracing has been removed too from the tower proper.

For such a prominent location, it's looking like one of the biggest missed opportunities in quite some time. If this had nothing but the highest quality finishes it will be a massive disappointment.

It has been dumbed down. What was already a disappointing development has lost its only redeeming feature. It is now the pig’s arse.

Who are the architects for this?

Built are the architects. They’re the guys doing UCity as well. UCity isn’t bad looking in fact most of their designs are fairly decent. This one has been a real failure though.
