One month since construction "commenced", has anyone been past lately and seen if anything has happened? Showroom was still open last week.

I walked past yesterday and there is no change to any of the site. The electricity box, which was cited earlier as being the cause for delay is still there, unchanged, too.

I’ve just gone past on the bus and there were workers doing road work on Burnett Street. Not sure if it’s related or not.

I am sorry but that's an excuse. I am pretty sure another developer was saying the same thing.

Received an email from the developer saying that the display centre will close “within a few weeks” to allow for demolition. Furthermore, they mentioned that the display centre will soon be moving to 96 Currie Street.

Was some temporary fencing going in this morning, one around the electricity box and another out the front of the old Kwik-e-Mart. All looks to be to do with the said electricity box being removed or moved.
