Still on cards, after years of community consultation, they have decided to leave the soldier memorial where it is, plans are being adjusted accordingly.

Blackwood is a retirement village and things move at a glacial pace in those parts.

No visual confirmation. I try and avoid this roundabout after being a recipient of a rear end collision from a driver choosing an exit from the wrong lane.

Had to go through this intersection the other day and they appear to have started the upgrade as 25kph roadworks in progress.

They need to knock down the old Blackwood Sound and use the space

Does anyone know when Blackwood sound is going to be demolished?

On the plans I have seen, they didn't show this building being demolished. Also this week I noticed it now has a For Lease sign up.

Not being demolished, the land gained to increase the roundabout will come from the war memorial garden (with the gardens being set back further), they're currently dismantling the statue there.

There was this Jewish carpenter born a few years ago. Most construction sites have taken time off to celebrate. I'd expect things to ramp up again soon.

I don’t think anything has been done here since November, all through December I didn’t see a worker even there.

The upgrade is now underway with works being completed after peak traffic time (after 7pm)
