No narrowing of the street, but car park spaces have been removed and this has contributed to a wider footpath.

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects
Anyone have the plans via link for the Gouger st upgrade?
*Looks at Dyson Airblade Factory* "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure"

Seems like work on Bentham St has come to a halt for now?.
All that is left is some plants in wine barrels on what used to be the north lane.

New Waymouth St .Hate it. It is now impossible to ride a bike here without being run off what's left of the road.
Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects
Still plenty of services being renewed before the road gets ripped up. Gas and water have been done AFAIK. I don't think it's due to be finished until the end of the year.Hybrid wrote:Seems like work on Bentham St has come to a halt for now?.

Also, maybe due to the Travel lodge tower they've ceased the upgrade until the development is complete. There could be some damage to the footpath during construction, would make sense to wait until after.Norman wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 4:49 pmStill plenty of services being renewed before the road gets ripped up. It's only that chunk, so hopefully it's temporary - I go past it each working day.
