If I open the photos in their own tab they are the right way around. Something is up with the forum software I think.

I took the photos on my iPhone and posted to the forum on the same phone and they are sized and orientated correctly when I view them??? I was only able to post one pic at a time

I had this problem last year - I think with an iPhone the key is to "square" the photo in the editing bit on your phone and then post and then they should appear the right way up.

Uncle Monty , I too have only been able to post one picture at a time for about 2 weeks. when I preview them it shows all the pictures have been loaded but when I press submit only the first photo is accepted.

Upside down and side way pictures from several users has been common for weeks now.
Picture rotation issue will no doubt be found in not respecting exif data in the picture.
This forum must be stripping/damaging/mishandling exif from certain devices, eg iPhone.
Your camera device has 1 correct orientation.
Devices could fiddle with what pixel lines up where in a jpg. Eg top left of camera sensor is top left of jpg, now rotate device 90 degrees, what was top left camera sensor is now bottom left of jpg. Or you simply write a tag that says this image needs to be rotated 90degrees.
This 1 correct orientation is also true for phone screens.
LCD scan left to right line by line top to bottom, easy to imagine for TV's in your house. But imagine that then rotate your handheld device 90 or 180 degrees and where what was the top left now is.

All my photos I’ve posted appear correctly when viewed on the laptop but upside down or sideways when viewed on the iphone. I always post my photos from my laptop.

Some work still ongoing in and around Dwell. Maybe the remedial work to the wall suggests that Tavistock Lane may end up being quite a nice laneway between Dwell on Synagogue Place and The Adelaidean on Frome Street?

Synagogue Place definitely needs a makeover into a shared space. It looks pretty terrible as it is now.

I like it, sometimes dingy can be nice. Adelaide shouldn't be trying to turn every small street and laneway into Peel Street. If anything, the modern tiles at the base of this student accommodation building is tacky and out of place.

The entire building is out of place to be fair.

It needs a freshen up. Nothing fancy, just something simple.
I've always thought an art piece on the Scots building exterior would look great and tie in nicely with Marys Poppin opposite.
