Adelaide Entertainment Centre multi storey carpark might be more busy especially taking into account the east end extension and the way the fuel prices are at the moment.

Each extension has been more popular than expected. Hopefully the Liberals see the people voting with their feet and seek to get some credit by giving them another destination (even if only North Adelaide or the loop this term).

As far as I am concerned, the next extension needs to go over the bridge into North Adelaide. Without that, the little spur to the Festival Center just feels unfinished.

Whilst we renamed West Terrace to Royal Adelaide Station can they rename City West to "The Chesse Grater" and Pirie Street to Town Hall

Just took the tram from "Art Gallery" to the Railway Station instead of my normal walk to the Rundle Mall stop routine. Good amount of people using the servce. I think this will turn out nicely and only get better with more extensions.

Patronage no big surprise. Like all other new lines built here, this line will help with further CBD development and student usage. NOT going no where. Will help with making the city more pedestrian friendly. (All aided by rising fuel prices). Hope this speaks to the Marshall clan to see the advantages with the broader effects. As someone else said Nth. Adel. next to give more reason to the spur up to the festival theatre.

Took a few trips during the day from the Botanic Garden to the Adelaide Railway Station and back. One in the am peak, one just after 1pm, and two in the evening peak.
Mostly stated/finished with 10 or so passengers at the Botanic Garden, and between 20-30 coming from/going to the Station.
Obviously not scientific, but enough to get a sense of the initial demand.
If I am idle enough, I'll repeat this on Friday.
It certainly looked busy at the Railway Station, with lots of trams coming and going..

Traffic lights for pedestrians should be green regularly so commuters actually have a chance to get the tram or let pedestrians cross at the east end of the Art Gallery tram stop. 10 minute intervals is infrequent.

Yep, I appreciated the 10 minute intervals last Saturday when I missed one at Botanic Gardens by a minute. Thanks Norman again - can anyone please confirm that the southern side of North Terrace has now been more or less fixed to its pre-works self - as in the slate pavements fixed and any damaged trees replaced - it's hard to look that close in Norman's film. Adelaide (like many other places) has a bad habit of filling in pavement works with simple bitumen and then not returning them to their original form.
