Went in for a look around town today. took a couple of photos of the Realm. the 7th floor is going in now, the slider doesn't appear to have moved however so I suspect it will move early this week, possibly Tuesday. Notice the A/C ducting is going in on the ground and 1st Floor and look closely and you can see "besser blocks" near the ducting so I suspect some internal construction is happening, there was big bulker bags of brickie sand near the ramps/main entrance to the building.

partial wall finished and another level complete. Slider appears to have not moved, so maybe Tuesday of this week?

Been a while since posting, but there really isn't much to see from my view point now.
But you can see the rear panels going up (by rear I mean South panels)

Got a tour of the site today (verbal that is). They are at the 8th floor, pouring the core today and putting in the precast concrete walls for the 8th floor. That is where the lap pool is and the tower narrows (steps back on the west side) to the line of the pillars that are just to the left of the car ramp and the apartments start. Apparently there are some really big concrete beams going in to do some weight transfer.

Also at the moment there had been a hole cut in the concrete path at the front to get access to some pipework, someone forgot to connect the mains water from Austin street to the sub-basement, they were there today fixing it. Just to the right of that in the sub-basement will be where there are some large transformers for the power, it is not part of the normal basement, it is quite deep and there is about a 1.5 to 2 metre step up to the normal basement. The service stuff including the transformers will be craned in through a hole area near the entrance where service trucks will access the building. The area I'm talking about you an see on the right hand side in a photo posted by whatstheirname on the 9/7/2018 you can also see the columns that I mentioned above as well.

It was interesting watching them lift the precast concrete walls off the truck and swing them in to place as they are too tall and laying on their side on the truck, when put in to place they have some "pins" that go in holes in the base and it is sitting on some plastic tube that all gets filled with grout or something. There is also about a 30mm recess with steel rods sticking out about 1/2 way down the height of the precast panel that is where the floor plate binds the walls to the floor

From carpark. Slider hasn't moved, but note the south wall is now up. also if you zoom in on the west wall to the north end you can see the binding bits that go in holes on the bottom of the precast and they put the grout in. They had inserted 2 panels after I took this and was in Austin street watching and getting the explanations.

I am also seeing grooves and what appears to be a pattern in the precast concrete, would this mean it is going to be painted to enhance the imprints in the concrete walls.
