This already feels of such higher quality than Adelaidean. If only it was 50 or 60 levels instead. This deserves to be our tallest tower, not the cheap job down the road.

Whatstheirname posted photos of yellow things being craned on 16May. I couldn’t see them on the crane, but the photo from the Footlocker has all that yellow framing. I’m wondering if this is what he photographed? And what it might be?

Also looking at this go up from the mall, it is already overshadowing the mall, however looking at the photos I think it is going to look quite impressive and add value to the mall, a first for Adelaide.

I think the yellow will be interesting, we saw a photo Pikey took with the facade in full sun and it looked very yellow. Also other photos show the yellow as a dull yellow, Both of these are my visions of gold covering pre and post refining.

Given the shape of the building I think we will have portions of the facade in sun and portions in shade in winter giving an interesting image of vertical stripes of different yellows, yet in summer all will be in sun or shade depending on time of day.

I think it will take 12 months after completion to see the best of all aspects of this building.

I had to see it for myself today. This development is spectacular and should set the bar for developments in Adelaide moving forward.

Note the top climbing collar and support bracket on the crane. I'd suggest a decent height increase is not far off.

That was quick. That collar was there Friday morning. And your photo of the west side shows the whole of the 11th floor now exposed and it just gets better

And as predicted, this crane has already has a substantial height increase today.

I completely agree. The adjacent student development next to Adelaidean should remove some of its impact, but Realm deserves to be the tallest.

Brother, how can you say that the Adelaidean is cheaper than Realm when they're both being built on the same shoe string budget
of $100 million ?

Realm and the Adelaidean are both cheap. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we're ever going to get an iconic
tower than it will be the Sofitel hotel on Currie street.
