Surely there will be some sort of event or celebration for this (even if it's beers with the boys). It's been over a decade in the making. I remember being a 16 year old in 2008 asking why Adelaide didnt have a tall building and coming across this site (and the old site skyscraperlife) in which somebody explained it and how Bentham would be a gamechanger when it went up (which it never did). It's been so long in the making.

I can imagine Howie shedding a tear.

Well the "gap" is level 21, and just having a look from my vantage point id suggest floor plates are at level 27 and the core is at level 30. Still a fair bit of bulk to go.

I would say yes, these guys are running on a seven day cycle between core and floor plates. The whole external structure should be well and truly complete by the end of the year.

You can see the Adelaidean from most angles now, when entering the city.
How great! to have a new building that actually impacts Adelaides skyline.
I hope there will be another coming soon that will be even taller & will change the look of Adelaide even more:) 150 m plus would be so cool.

We've been waiting a lot longer than 10 years for this . Westpac house went up 35 years ago which is just about my entire life !! It really is a sad reflection on the state government and our politicians. The level of private investment in Adelaide over the last 35 years has been nothing short of embarrassing. I am sure many people on this forum shed tears about the state government and our politicians.
