The top of the building is essentially at the RTCC, so I'm not sure how they'll complete the building without the crane breaching the RTCC. Would generally need 15-20m clearance between top of crane and top of building (for a hammerhead). Either they have a magic way of constructing the top of the building or they have sought a permit to temporarily breach the RTCC. 3-month permit to breach PANS-OPS/RTCC is standard on the east coast. RTCC is governing in this location, not PANS-OPS.

From the limited info that I have, there is a three month exception here. There is more height to go on this crane, the current crane height is close to the final finished height of the tower.

So Kyren have been granted a 3-month permit to lift the RTCC? I've seen the crane permits for other sites in the city (e.g. Sofitel) but haven't seen them for Realm or Adelaidean. I assume they have their paperwork in order...

Just what I've heard, wouldn't take it as gospel though. Sounds like you're far more knowledgable on the topic than I could ever hope to be. All I've heard is that there's one more smaller crane rise to occur.

That one highly reflective panel really stands out. Would be amazing if the whole tower was like this. I wonder if it’s to be replaced.

Does anyone else think it's weird they've left a concrete lip of each floor plate beyond the glazing? I like the horizontal line it creates, but it seems to me to be too shallow to provide any solar relief and of a finish likely to pool water (with all the attendant risks).

North Adelaide car park update from yesterday, during a gloriously sunny Friday. (23/8/19)

Adelaidean and Realm both seem to be rising at a rate of roughly one floor every two weeks.

Another view from today, down by lot14. You can also just make out Realm through the tree.

Looks like a real game changer for Adelaide having a building this tall in this location. I'm from Melbourne, I look forward to visiting sometime to see these developments.

The lights on the crane are visible just before sunset from driving south in the right lane on Main North Road on the hill before the dip leading up to the Regency Road traffic lights (roughly opposite St Clements church). I assume the final building will be visible from there too since Pikey says the current crane height is roughly the finished building height.
