I was watching Bride and Prejudice tonight. This series is based here in Adelaide, namely around Mount Lofty House. In tonight's episode, as Micah was having his breakdown, you could make out a tower crane in the background. I am not aware of any construction at Mount Lofty House, but the tower crane was unmistakable.

I saw that too but I think it was the North Adelaide one as they were showing city shots afterwards?

By the end of the year i think we could lose 5 but potentially up to 8 cranes with most construction topping out in recent months.

I think the ones to come down will be:
Light Square
Adelaidean
2 x casino
East Terrace
South Terrace
Greenhill Road
Ei8ht Glenelg

I don't think any more will go up this year. Early 2020 Penny place and maybe around March Sahmri 2. Could be 1-3 at Festival plaza eventually.

Yes the tower crane had gone by 4pm today and the mobile was lifting in some concrete panels for the lift core at the roof level .These could not be placed while the tower crane was in place. Click on picture for bigger.

Yep, I did see that yesterday. That is a very large mobile crane. 200 tonne at least

Cranes very soon for Penny Place , 269 North Terrace and SAHMRI Stage 2.

Mid year probably Toms Court and 270 Pulteney St.

Demolition work to begin on old GPO site and new Hyatt Hotel site plus 64 Currie St during year you'd think.

Work to be completed 2020 :

Indigo Hotel , 120 Wakefield St. , Sofitel , Light Square , Casino , 114 Waymouth , 124 Waymouth.
