Yes I realise that, but didn't think that was Howie's intention...

WHAT'S WITH THE CRAPPY BLACK BITUMEN PATH NEAR THE VICTORIA SQUARE (HILTON) STOP. SPEND ALL THIS MONEY ON THE TRAM PROJECT AND THEY CAN'T EVEN PROVIDE A NICE CONCRETE PAVED FOOTPATH. TIGHT ARSES!!!

The footpath is the ACC's responsibility as far as I am aware, not the contractors for the tram line project.

Turf laying over the old Victoria Square terminus was already about half-done when I passed by at lunchtime today. Also, saw shelter on low-loader at CityWest stop waiting to be installed around 5:20 p.m. - it's probably up by now.

Yep, when I rode past after work, the entire area of the former tram terminus had grass. Looks 100% better

We should make a Sensational Adelaide banner to advertise our site :P

I'll be there anyhow, taking loads of pictures, this will be a major event.

I have been taking photos right from the start, I may as well finish the collection before donating the whole lot (about 500 photos or so on my PC) to the State Archives. I'll be there tommorrow also to give a further photo update. I was passing by on the train to Brighton and City West stop has now got the shelter installed.

Railway Station and CityWest stops now also have the handrails installed, workmen were making the finishing touches to CityWest eastern handrail when my bus passed by tonight.

Adelaide metro site has been updated with page below, which includes link to new timetables as they will operate from Monday 15th.

Apologies if you see this twice but the site 'went away' as I was posting.

I came across Flexity 106 being used for driver training today.

Here's a shot taken in Victoria Square
