Just wondering whether the crane count is wrong.

I am based in country SA at present, and thus cannot physically go into the city for a drive to check it out.

Based on my calculations the CBD tally should be 11:

269 North Terrace up and one of the festival centre. Crane Base at south terrace and unley Road apartments. The Wingfold tower crane is due to come down next week.

A few due to start might be on hold. Westin, Travellodge, Vibe and Tryp hotels. QT is on hold as announced a couple of weeks back.

I think the crane at 179 Greenhill Rd will come down soon sometime in the next 3or 4 weeks.

Some good news on the crane front: there will be 2 cranes on Unley Rd, one on each site. picture of northern site Saturday 4/4/2020. The southern crane has not gone up yet.

The crane at 248 Unley Rd is going up today (and maybe tomorrow). Picture from 5pm today 8/4/2020. This is the southern site. As usual, please click on pictures for bigger.

Also the beginnings of a second tower at the Festival Centre car park could just be seen above the fence from King William Rd. So the second crane would be almost in the very centre of the whole site. Could not stop anywhere for a picture.

The completed crane.5 pm 9/4/2020. The crane actually belongs to a company called load -28 and was erected using their own mobile cranes. This model of crane is similar to the crane that was on South Tce near the intersection with Glen Osmond Rd.

There is going to be 2 cranes at Unley 1 at 248 Unley Rd (completed today 9/4/2020 ) and one next door at 246 Unley Rd (crane base as at 9/4/2020).
