Would love some great street art on the blank walls because their raw finish against the front facade looks hiring.
Not amazing but better than what I was expecting. Hahaha typical Adelaide mindset isn’t it on development in the last ten years. Oh that isn’t as cheap and dire as I thought. Lol the standard.

This would look magnitudes better if they smoothed the finish of the concrete (around the grooves) similar to what was done to Kodo's west wall (which, though improved, is still shit because of its overwhelming size).EBG wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 11:41 pm25/2020 on the north side there are some set back balconies which follow the same colour scheme. From a distance, the concrete areas at first appear to have water stains but close up these are actually a series of grooved patterns. The concrete is not painted (at this stage)? Yikes! This turned out to be one fugly, but true to cheap Adelaide form. Does anyone know if it was the same architect for this "slightly" altered design or did it change hands?

Does anyone know if the plan is to paint a couple of murals on those raw concrete walls?

Would rather see them just painted white. There's enough uninteresting, beige murals around Adelaide.
Also think they make some buildings look needlessly "busy."
