[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
That's probably just referring to the recent changes we already discussed.

It’ll be a similar height to the Intercontinental

This render from https://www.festivalsquare.com.au/ is of the newer tower plan I think: https://www.festivalsquare.com.au/img/pages/home/xl.jpg

A view of the car park site 21/6/2020. the newest crane is on the of the picture. The short red structures are concrete pumps , Please click on picture for bigger.

Is that the car park which they're constructing ?
[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
Yes, and including the bottom 5 levels of structure for the office tower (hence the large core and some of the columns being large ones).

This image from the Walker Corp. Instagram is the only one I've seen of the new design featuring the full tower: https://www.instagram.com/p/B7jwjTSl5fe ... _copy_link
[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
There's not many images showing the tower, since there's a lot of uncertainty about if and when it's going to go ahead.
[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
It would be nice to see a more panoramic view that shows the tower, perhaps from the riverbank footbridge, to see how it'll look against its surrounds. The full height shot that Walker doesn't really compare the tower to anything.

It is going ahead. They haven't built the footings and 5 levels of core and columns just for fun.

Hi CDJ, is the tower core the large structure covered in scaffolding to the left hand side of Stryker's image? Cheers!
