Are they actually demolishing the old Advertiser building or redeveloping it into City Central? The small building on the left is a much similar size to the old Advertiser building.

Don't think so mate, driving in to wokr this morning there was some crane movement, maybe the site will be active right up till Xmas eve?

I checked out the glass on Sunday, think there was 2 levels of it up on the edges. It actually looks rather porn, much better than in photos!

All sites still definately active!

The whole of level 2 and half of level 3 are now clad (looks awesome!) and the crane support brackets for the second climbing support are on for the southern crane, didn't check the nothern one. Looks like another rise soon, my guess before the end of the week.

I was walking past cc1 today and there was a big picture of what it would like like when completed looking north with Santos in the background. It looked pretty small in comparison so It doesnt look like it will impact on the skyline much at all, but the picture gave a great perspective of the finished project and I think this pic has only just been put up on the fence along Waymouth street.

Core and crane rise over the weekend!

Level 18's now exposed and both crane cabins are level with the core box.

Will take some pix soon.

thought as such. Looked a fair whack taller now. I'd say the cranes only raised one 3.3m section each. Expect more of a rise soon. Both should have the second support brackets on now.
