I see that they have renamed Adelaide Showground back to Keswick and renamed Goodwood to Woodlands Park

Who approved this video? Some serious quality control missing here!

The map was ripped straight from the previous animation video from 2017 and still looks just as horrid. The station names were also not in the original video, they’ve been added for this one.

Shame because the actual animation is pretty good.

The stations are bargain basement compared to Oaklands, and they continue to have at grade pedestrian crossings, nothing but the cheapest for anything that isn't about cars from the State Liberal Government as per usual

Oaklands station was constructed in a cutting which required substantial excavation to eliminate the level crossing. The Flinders link project has significant provision for pedestrians including no pedestrian track crossing at Flinders, the pedestrian bridge from FMC to the station over the Flinders Private access road, the elevated pedestrian/cycle path on the viaduct with access ramps, stairs and lifts, the pedestrian underpass between Birch and Lynton and the establishment of 3 automatic gated pedestrian crossings at Alawoona Ave and the new Tonsley station replacing the 2 existing ungated crossings. The Oaklands project also saw the construction of 3 automated gated crossings in the Warradale/Hove area.

Hoping Warradale station will be scrapped as a part of the rail separation project at Brighton Road. Hove station should be retained as it has better links to buses along Brighton Road.

I actually would prefer that Hove be eliminated and Warradale be rebuilt further west. Hove, Warradale, and Oaklands are all too close together.

I doubt there is a lot of interchange between the train line and bus passengers along Brighton Road.....happy to be corrected if someone can provide some stats from transport dept.

Hove is a great station for getting to the nearby high schools. Added bonus is links to bus services. From my days living down south and high school at Brighton, we always used Hove station to get to Glenelg via Train then bus.

Move Hove to the start of Railway Terrace and close Warradale. While you're at it close Marino Rocks and rebuild Marino in front of the reserve / roundabout. Also rebuild Brighton, remove the third track and have wider platforms and add bus bays, Brighton is the interchange station for buses not Hove.

Leave Marino and Marino Rocks as it is, there is only a handful of buses that actually service the area.

I also saw a tweet from Peter Malinauskas "The Marshall Liberal Government have just announced they are handing over $2.14 billion of taxpayers money to an overseas company to run our train network."

As far as I can tell, Keolis Downer is based in Sydney, and one of the two shareholders is the Downer group listed on the ASX. I also find it a bit rich to complain that KD buses in Newcastle run at a lower on-time rate, (InDaily article) but not mention that Southlink/LinkSA is a subsidiary of KD, and Labor renewed its contract to operate Adelaide's buses.

The InDaily article also quotes someone (maybe Malinauskas) “It is understood that Keolis Downer won the bid because its bid was significantly cheaper than others. It is understood this is because Keolis has promised cost-cutting and outsourcing train maintenance to a third party.” I can't imagine that Keolis Downer would outsource to anyone who is neither the current maintenance contract, nor a member of the Downer Group, so maybe Downer Rail is technically a "third party", but it's not unrelated.

The 4000-class trains were manufactured by Bombardier. Perhaps Labor should also explain why it thought a foreign company was a better supplier than an Australian one for those.
