Hopefully if enough people make the same suggestion it would be heard.

I hope they've re-designed it and we're not dealing with a 1992 proposal.
Whilst I'm not usually caught up on height if a proposal's otherwise good architecturally, I agree with Pikey and Beamer, if this is to be a landmark, it needs to at least be taller than Santos, but future-proofing it to 170-200m would be the best way to go.

The site isn't working for me
I'm just going to save my comment here for the moment, and then when its working again I'll just paste it across.
What a bold proposal! FInally someone with the guts to deliver something of landmark signifance to Adelaide. I reckon we should go the whole way and beat Q1 for Australia's tallest tower (323m+). Adelaide could have something to be proud of with that fact, that defines us as a city and not a oversized country town.

Made my comment and I did a quick copy & paste job of the idea.

I'm curious as to how the carpark payback for the developer works... can someone elaborate for us and why a developer would go for an idea like this? Sounds like they need to do a bit of a hard sell... perhaps we could invite Michael Thiele to this thread to help explain it to us. Anyone have an email address for him?
