Fits well with it's ugly neighbour
So tired of these rubbish designs filling the city skyline.
I'd be surprised if the ACC would approve this monstrosity!
What are you guys on about? This proposal is actually setting itself apart of the usual crap.
We don't know enough about it yet, but there's every chance it could be fabulous.

Love it. These sort of buildings litter every square in Europe and they're what make a city square feel that way. For me this reminds me of Verona.

A balcony with no balustrade. Designed to ensure it's easy to get rid of drunk party guests? Especially if they try to steady themselves against the pole that isn't there.
Looks like a parapet wall with a simple handrail on top.
Cannot explain the columns though, or lack thereof.

Could be - it's hard to tell how high the ceiling of the balcony below it is. I see now that the face at that level is higher which could be a parapet wall.

Update for the 4th project in Hurtle Sq. this is a rather narrow site only 3 bays wide. The basement is nearly complete in the centre & south side only the north side (LHS in picture) is still open.

The house on the corner of Hurtle Square and Carrington St looks to be getting demolished. Not sure what the plan for the site currently is? Anyone know if its the same one as a few years ago when apartments were proposed?

It's apartments, not sure if it's the same one you're referring to.

Some updates from out the back end of the new biomes building on north terrace across from SAHMRI where they are adding two floors. First is to show new structural supports of additional floors and second was taken from right beside where that guy escaped the remand centre last week.
It night just be interesting to me, but the building CMAX occupies to the left of picture, is going to be occupying the new floors of the building in addition to its current hold. The persin who owns both buildings is currently in discussions with building a large elevated walkway from around Lvl 5/6 of both buildings. As the buildings are diagonal to each other I think it will be interesting to see how they manage this.
