[COM] Re: Pole Replacement North Terrace
Whilst this was absolutely necessary, I'm not sure what they were thinking replacing the old lighting poles that structurally struggled to support the tension cabling for the tram overheads, with the exact same make of lighting pole? I know these are consistent along KWS, but surely considering the first generation of these poles only lasted 10/15 years before they were completely ruined by the cabling, wouldn't they have been better off replacing them with the more heavy duty make of light poles that were installed at certain points along North Terrace during the tram exertion? Otherwise we can expect another round of replacements in 2035...

I thought the poles were bent during installation of the overhead cables, not years later.
Possible during install single poles were holding extra load temporarily until cables were affixed to more poles.
