Appreciate your updates Chilly, but is there a reason the images are so compressed?

With a bit of red, yellow and blue paint we'll have it back to the concrete jungle it was before all this started! No, I'm not serious, but I do hope the landscaping provides some form of protection from the summer sun!

Seems strange but the scaffolding on the roof of the theatre adds a bit of character.

Not strange at all, just proves that the shape of the building's design is impressive. If they can get the paint work on the Festival Centre up to scratch like it's early years then it will look just as striking as it once did.Honey of a City wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 5:04 pmSeems strange but the scaffolding on the roof of the theatre adds a bit of character.

Article on the Tiser site stating that work on the Tower is “weeks away”.
The new car park opens to the public tomorrow.

What are they actually doing with the Festival Centre roof? Is it getting a pressure clean or a complete new paint job?
