It is absolutely bonkers that the developer was permitted to build something with so few and such small windows. Even the Remand center has much bigger windows than this thing.
Its bonkers that they've been allowed to build it to begin with.
Lets hope the lack of a sufficient amount of windows on the east and western sides means we will sooner rather then later have buildings on either side at least as tall, significantly reducing the impact this thing has on the skyline.

Guess who went strolling along the River Torrens last Sunday evening, and just so happened to have his trusty Canon PowerShot camera handy? (8/8/2021)

Crane rise expected in the next few days, looks as though they are putting in two additional pieces to the crane so I'd expect a 20m jump on what's there.

Still not a fan, but I have at least noticed two positive things about this building so far.
Firstly, when viewed from the north it is not as bulky as all of the other 100+ buildings. The 'slimmer' design creates a nice and much needed point of difference.
Secondly, I was driving past on Friday approaching the building from the West. The reflection of the sun against the fins created a really awesome shadow effect across the building which I found quite mesmerising.

Yes, it looks quite good from a distance thanks to its height and slender form. Honestly it’s by no means good, but I also don’t hate it…could have been worse if it were untreated concrete ala Dwell.

Definitely looks significantly taller then the other student accom. Wonder if they have added extra height to be in the 120s.

Could elevation be a factor? Not that there would be much difference. I suspect that 203N is about a metre or two higher than 269N. As from the intersection of Frome and Rundle is pretty downhill from there to the Torrens.
