Awesome pic update Pikey, thanks for all the pics. I actually like CC1 and CC2 a lot despite other comments on this forum. Sometimes it can be good to have glass square boxes. These two buildings are a massive improvement on what was originally there. It is starting to look like our city's financial heart in this area. Looking forward to Ernst and Young signage going on too.

Great photographic update, Pikey!

Although I find CCT1 to be a rather bland and unispired design, CCT2 is looking relatively nice. It contains some interesting features that add visual interest to the building, and whilst I think the design could have been made more attractive, i still think that it is one of the better high-rise office developments we have seen in the last few years. 6/10

Excellent pics Pikey - you obviously know what you are doing.

My son in law and daughter over here in Brisbane are into wedding photography and I have been learning the secrets from them. You have exhibited not only knowledge of techniques but have exhibited a comprehensive practical application of them. Your favourite is mine also - very well framed with excellent light characteristics demonstrated to heighten the big city look coupled with the colonial aspect.

Wonder if this could be another surprise like the spire on CC1?

Let's hope it's a better looking surprise than that spire, but sounds promising.

Or it could be the roof that's going on now?

It hasn't been approved yet according to the DA so must be something new.

Thanks for the pic.

I don't really like it... Looks too cluttered and messy. Thought modern is meant to look clean and sleek..

Didn't want to say this but I'm not too impressed with this building's looks. Waiting for the pods to be finished. The only advantage that it has is that it doesn't have to face west and cop the hot summer sun.

Cheers

P.S. Still think CC1 should have been taller by at least another 4 or 5 storeys with a slightly smaller footprint and a gap between buildings where the old lane was!

im afraid that this building is going to look as ugly as what stood there before. give it ten years or so.

Funnily enough, its not the best design - but its taken a step back (a whole decade actually - to 1950's modernism) to what was previously there. That I can tolerate, as 50's modernism in some forms was actually rather impressive, which I can see emerging in its identity, given another 10 years on the skyline.

I agree 100%. Exactly what I was thinking.
