Here's a more accurate vision of what it looks like in comparison to other highrises in the city. Even when its been shortened to 180m, It'll be an absolute Beast!

The difference between SA1 Tower and previous tall proposals for Adelaide is that in this case the work has actually been done with regard to aviation. Previous proposals have made no attempt to do so and therefore had no chance of ever being approved at DA stage. This is the first time we've had a real project in Adelaide which will achieve height greater than the Westpac antennae. (Realm and Adelaidean are lower than Westpac antennae, with respect to sea level, which is what matters for aviation).

Was waiting for this news since December. CDJ gave us a hint for something then. A little disappointed not pushed to the 200 metre limit, but beggars can't be choosers. Anyhow back in December I put this image together to see what reaction it would get but never posted it. A bit of an anti climax now I guess. Anyhow let's enjoy the moment.
