Adelaide City Council Poll 2007 (AREA COUNCILLOR POLL)

#1 Post by Howie » Wed Oct 17, 2007 11:22 am

Following on from the Lord Mayors thread, can we get a quick poll of area councillors.

Each person here is entitled up to 3 votes. So could you please indicate your preferences for the Area Councillor vote?

Thanks very much!

Howie, can we have a 21st option - "Anyone but Anne Moran"?

Anne was actually very much in favour of the currie st tower and made this known in the DAP meeting. I was impressed by how Anne and Michael had such vocal support for such a significant project.

Anne was also in favour of the Victoria Park proposal initially and has now backflipped yes for unknown reasons. I remain neutral in my opinion and await her next move.

Ditto... that's why she got my vote, along with cambo and francis.

Thanks for the support guys. Voting is going on as we speak and I'm in with a chance but it's all down to preferences. Anne Moran is the only candidate to make it in on primary vote.

Fingers crossed for you David :D Good to hear Anne Moran has made it through.

Can you keep us abreast on how all the candidates are doing? Is there anywhere we can get live results?

The strongest four the primary vote is made up of Richard Haywood, Frances Wong, Ralph Clarke and David Plumbridge.

A very mixed bunch.

Then there is myself and Michael Gray and perhaps one other that are still in the running.

Even down at the Electoral Office it is hard to get information so there is nowhere you can get live updates. I will make sure I post any developments as Bec calls.

Latest update - All the preferences are being data entered at the moment and that will take up until 5:30pm, and then the final results for the Area candidates will be known.
