This has also been identified as the home of the Adelaide Museum of South Australia’s History
According to InDaily it's one of two options:
Mackie told InDaily in April that the History Trust was considering moving into the the Freemasons Hall as one two potential new homes.

The existing Masonic and James Stuart exhibitions are actually worth a quick look if you're passing. I had a meeting in the building a while back and got sidetracked on my way out - I found the Stuart stuff quite interesting in particular but I've always had a passing interest in the colonial exploration of Australia (devastating impact to existing communities acknowledged).

I think I've heard a rumour Crown Resorts might be looking into 207 Pultney street since JWDT still looking for a hotel tenant to finalize with, although there are many contenders with these towers.
These two developments are so exciting, bring it on!!

Crown resorts? I guess that’s good news for the casino then

Shouldn't it be PRO: now rather than VIS:

There's no official proposal yet...

I wish the taper was a bit more pronounced, so the building had a bit more of an obviously unique silhouette. As it is, it's barely perceptible in that perspective render.

Or, y'know, anything other than an upright box for a change. Curves, tiers, or anything to offer relief/interest in the increasing monotony of the skyscape.
I welcome the development, of course. Just aspiring for more.

I’m shook and ready. Are their taking their time prepping the proposal to ensure they get approval?

No. We just heard about it earlier than usual.

Be interesting to see if SA1 / Dominator opts for a height increase to claim the mantle of tallest tower over this one.
Theoretically it is possible. If 187m is permissible at this location, given its close proximity to the flight path, and that's assuming that's at the CASA maximum allowable height limit - SA1 could easily go well above 200, even 220m I would think.

The 187m height doesn't reference RLs or AHD and really, could be anything. I'm not even sure there has been a height increase yet.

The renders have changed to reflect the increased height, compare the last one posted to the original.
