Maybe something happening with the retail unit at the station? The white hoardings are down that have been there forever:

I've also noticed the larger tenancies towards the Oval end of the station no longer show for lease signs. I'm still hoping for a metro type supermarket here.

Coffee shop I'd say. It's been nearly 7 years since the newsagent here closed its doors.

Read in The Advertiser today that the new Uniqlo Myer Centre will be on the ground floor “spanning close to 1,000 sq m of retail space.”

That’s the same size as the new Dymocks on Rundle Mall or about a third of the size of H&M.

This doesn't seem right; big work for just a small space - ground level and Level 1/Upper Ground. Hopefully The Advertiser is wrong.
