Re: News & Developments: Other Suburban Retail
Now that Port Plaza has been redeveloped, perhaps Woolworths could give Port Adelaide another go

There are already 2 supermarkets in Port Adelaide Plaza.
I think Big W would be a much better fit. The nearest being Armdale.

THough not as close as West lakes, that is still quite close. I don't think it's far enough for Adelaide.
A TK MAX super store would do so well here. Or another big US/Euro retailer like a Cost Co,etc. Bring in something new that will give people reason to jump into their metal boxes and drive down to the Port (or use public transport).

There's already this. Not a fan given the location and general design: https://accord.property/investmentfund/central-pier/Mpol02 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 9:39 pmTHough not as close as West lakes, that is still quite close. I don't think it's far enough for Adelaide.

Located on Level 2 of the popular shopping center, near JB Hi-Fi, Rebel, and Reading Cinema.

I'm assuming TK Maxx will be taking some of the space that was formerly the 2nd level of David Jones. Can't see it fitting anywhere else on that level.

That's right.
The rest of the old DJs / Johnnies space is already taken by Goodlife Gym and the childcare centre.
Re: News & Developments: Other Suburban Retail
Which is somewhat ironic as items DJ's (and others) can't sell in their stores they pass on to TK Maxx.pushbutton wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:22 pmThat's right.

Apparently Bunnings are temporarily moving into the Masters building at Noarlunga. The current Bunnings building will be demolished and rebuilt before they eventually move back into the rebuilt store.
