When was the Ramada project cancelled??
Crane Counter: CBD 9 | Metro 6 | Total 15
Re: Crane Counter: CBD 9 | Metro 9 | Total 18
The commencement of construction was held on Wed 8/2/2023 with all the usual dignitaries present and a bulldozer cleared the site, but since then absolutely nothing has been done. On 25 /11/23 when I passed by the site was completely abandoned with the Ramada project sign lying on its side. So I think the turning of the first sod ceremony was a false start.

Was that a (false) restart? The original official start was 14 April 2021. https://www.mossop.com.au/official-turn ... m-playford - interesting that Mossop still has that news story but doesn't seem to have the project anywhere else on its website.EBG wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 12:02 pmThe commencement of construction was held on Wed 8/2/2023 with all the usual dignitaries present and a bulldozer cleared the site, but since then absolutely nothing has been done. Addition: The 2021 ground breaking is also still on the Wyndham Destinations website at https://wyndhamap.com/ramada-by-wyndham ... ng-ground/

Grenfell Street crane to come down on the 25th Feb.
Botanic high not long after.
Nothing new planned in the CBD that I can think of. Maybe Hutt Street and East Terrace although both are small enough they could be done with mobile cranes. kings head appears to be on hold.

17 Hutt St will have a tower crane. The base has been installed and the first precast panels of the lift shaft installed. Expect the crane in the next month or so.Ben wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 5:49 pmGrenfell Street crane to come down on the 25th Feb.

Tower crane could go up this week end at 17 Hutt St - picture today (27/2/2024) shows some tower sections in place within the lift well.

Rode past 301 Pirie St this morning and Built Environ's yellow crane was onsite (disassembled). Do we know what (if anything) is happening on that site? Thanks
Re: Crane Counter: CBD 8 | Metro 8 | Total 16
The crane at 301 Pirie St is for 17 Hutt St, the builders have been using the Pirie St site as a working storage area.
