Well it wouldn't surprise me if we did take a step back in time, it wasn't that long ago that they removed those arched garden edging things around the city that had been there for half a century.
I think some might still be around.

Sensationally, they have managed to make this redevelopment look worse than the original. It's fucking horrendous and ugly.

Who ever approved this "upgrade" should be fired. Absolutely awful in every regard. I don't think even some tacky LED accent lights can help here.
