there were numerous styles of hotels in that era... Singapore exemplified many of them.

Why can’t the glass quality be the same all the way up. The super reflective glass is gorg but the glass above it is giving Frome st vibes.

I could be wrong, based on the photos below it looks to me like levels 3-8 are commercial floors facing Grote Street, with carparking behind it. Hence the "commercial" looking nature of the glass. Levels 9 to to 35 are the residential floors and so I suspect the glass treatment will look different again.

Edit: Google search shows up a few different renders. I think this is the current one which seems to line up with the construction progress so far.
