Hopefully the SCAP sees this submission as an opportunity for Adelaide and the Stare and approves it on Wednesday.

I’ll be more excited once it’s approved.

Mic, if this is approved, how long between approval to break in soil will it be?

It was originally supposed to be 2025 last time mic talked about it.

Poor Mic fighting for the development in the Tiser's facebook comments. What a patriot to his craft, honestly good on him

Hey.
Thanks guys.
I always have fun on facebook. I was in IT before I moved to finance 20 years ago, I grew up on IRC and BBboards like this and they prepared me.
Ah you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it.
:D :D

Fingers crossed for an approval.
Someone asked about construction timing - the second we can demolish the rear hall we will do so and we will commence the restoration work on the rest of the building at the same time.
I did say I had some surprises though.. I'll have to wait for approval to share.

Thanks for outlining this :) very excited.

Fingers crossed for approval. What would happen if this were rejected? Would the team look at amendments or ?

Would someone that understands the Panops constraining altitude explain it? Is this enforced by the Council, government or airport? I also thought it was far lower than circa 200m, has it changed, or just this number in the precise location?

Cheers

Hi Michael,

Have you selected or shortlisted a builder/head contractor for construction? Or will that search commence after approval?

Thanks

I really hope this goes ahead. Looks really good for a new development (for once). Also, I'd love to see the inside of the old hall before it gets pulled down. How does one get access for a look and some photos?

PANOPS stands for Procedures for Air Navigation Services and isn't just one uniform height. It's basically instructions for how aircraft can safely operate around the airport in different conditions. This is how the PANOPS map looks for Adelaide.

Generally short term considerations can be approved by the airport and CASA, for longer term things government gets involved.

Pelligra is our joint venture partner so they will most likely be the head contractor (the board is set out so that the Freemasons have control though, we need them to jump through some big hoops).
This last month we've been focused on appointing a client side project manager and hall demolition planning.
