151 Gilbert Street, behind my place, is back on the market. Not surprised. Place has been silent for months except for the cars from next door using it as a car park.
Didn’t forme projex have a proposal for there? They usually have a pretty good track record with following through.

Yeah they did. I’m wondering if the lack of car parking is the reason it fell through.
I don't think it ever went to market did it? They seem to be focusing their efforts now on their proposal on the corner of Frome and Angas St. I'm guessing that when they were running out of opportunities for further development around Hurtle Sq, they started looking further afield. I think they acquired the Gilbert St site prior to the Frome/Angas one. Once Frome/Angus came along, they probably figured it was a better fit for their product - close by to the popular Hurtle Sq series, and with plenty of opportunities for future stages with nice aspects all around that same area. Just my theory.

A "for sale" sign never went up so I'd say its dead.

Update picture for 200 East Tce -as at 13/7/2024 service core at level 5 and floor at level 3. This project may not need a tower crane if rear can be reached by side lane further to right of picture.

This site previously belonged to Calvary Hospital but this was closed after they moved to Agas St /Pulteny St and the site was demolished last year.

Here's an article from The Advertiser a couple days ago regarding the 6 level health centre on corner of Wakefield and Hutt streets.....

Pelligra Group granted planning approval for six-storey hospital to help treat low acuity mental health conditions
Planning approval for a 60-bed hospital to help treat low acuity mental health conditions, as part of a broader $120m plan, has been granted.

The Pelligra Group has received the green light to build a 60-bed hospital and health centre for low acuity mental health conditions in the city.

The State Commission Assessment Panel on Wednesday granted planning approval for the six-storey development on the corner of Wakefield and Hutt streets.

The development was believed to be part of the group’s wider $120m plan to create a state-of-the-art health precinct on the site of the old Calvary Hospital.

Pelligra paid $30m for the 9000sq m site in 2020, which included a car park on Ifould St and bluestone villa on Flinders St.

The new health centre would include consulting rooms on the ground and first floors and a hospital across levels three and four, with a rooftop terrace.

It would be voluntary accommodation for 60 patients – for an average 18 to 20 day stay – for treatment for conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety and addiction.

Prior to admission, patients would sign a contract and consent for a treatment document, which included a commitment to not use substances during treatment.

Inpatients would also be required to attend a minimum of four hours of group therapy each day and one-on-one therapy.

The centre would also run a step-down day therapy program for up to 50 outpatients, spread across five groups, per weekday. These patients would also require a GP referral to a consulting psychiatrist.
