There’s the hotel proposal which is 16 levels and the hotel wright street one which is also 16 levels, but no others that are 18. Is it the same design as previously?SouthAussie94 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 4:21 pmConstruction here is meant to start here in the next few months. Unless there's another 18 story buildings proposed on Wright Street?

134 Wright street is a hotel commencing soon which is 16 levels. I'm pretty sure this proposal is dead.SouthAussie94 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 4:21 pmConstruction here is meant to start here in the next few months. Unless there's another 18 story buildings proposed on Wright Street?

I was speaking with someone involved in an 18 level building on Wright Street. It could be this one, it could be one of the others (16 levels, 2 basement maybe?).
I wasn't in a position to ask too many questions, although I'd consider them a reasonable source. Construction of something with 18 levels on Wright St will commence soon.

Must be this one then. Of course, proper confirmation must occur.

Lots of action on site this morning. Seen some concrete panels or something being delivered

I think tis for the asian supermarket. I think this proposal is dead but hope im wrong.

It's only single level by the look of it - precast panels around the perimeter.

Definitely the most likely option. They have had signs up about it on the other street frontage (Wright Ct) for months, although it wasn’t clear from the sign exactly what the boundaries of the site in question were

Still alive.
I've heard things in the past week that suggest this is the case.
Timelines are vague however, lots of talk of "starting soon".
Anyone's guess as to when soon actually is..

But they are building the supermarket on the site now. They’re not going to build something on it for a few months or even years and demolish it?
