I recommend the Dom Perignon '98. Superb vintage. Although, the 2013 is also excellent.

Having said that, as a proud South Aussie, try the 1990 Grange Hermitage from Penfolds. I absolutely recommend it with a Mayura Station full blood wagyu beef.

I can't believe that a small forum about development that I love and care about has turned into such a volcano of attacks across so many threads. People attacking each other left, right and centre. No one being able to hold a constructive argument, but turning it into pissing contests with little to no constructive value. I'm sick of it, and so are many of the other moderators. Just stop.

Are there really a significant number of households in South Australia who park on the street (not their own driveway) because their new-build house has a garage that is too narrow for their car? Or even people who bought a house, then discovered their car was too wide for the garage they bought?

Sure there are people who choose to use the street as permanent parking (rather than visitors, trades and deliveries), but I don't really believe that moving 3 square metres from the loungeroom/front bedroom to the garage is going to change that.

My issue is more that car parking wouldn't be such an issue if

1. They didn't allow ridiculous oversized cars
2. They provided adequate PT

A quick look at Bowden street view doesn't show a mass of Raptors on the road.
They appear to mostly be small hatches.

So I think your reasoning that large expensive cars are mostly ending up on the street is inaccurate.
I don't own a massive(expensive) car but if I did I wouldn't be leaving it on the road.

We live in a free market economy created with various rules and incentives usually created by the Govt.

There is a market for cigarettes ,but we seem to be very much against the free market for sale of those

The influence of American culture in Australia over the past few decades has been massively destructive to our country.
