The hotel will offer a total of 78 spacious guest rooms & suites across three floors, including 2 two-bedroom family suites, 8 one-bedroom suites, and 2 rooms with balconies. It will also house a variety of amenities including a day spa, 2 swimming pools with a pool bar & café, a restaurant & bar, and a conference room.
The glamping component features a total of 20 glamping tents comprising 2 family tents, 2 DDA tents, and 16 standard tents, with room to incorporate additional tents in the future. The glamping component will also have its own visitor lodge with resort-style amenities including a gourmet restaurant, plunge pools, lounge area.

Luxury tourism operator Journey Beyond will manage and operate the new Monarto Safari Resort, which is now due to officially open on May 28.
The resort will have 78 guest rooms in the hotel and 20 luxury tents in the safari lodge, overlooking the plains of the new Wild Africa precinct of the 1500ha Monarto Safari Park which is home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles.
The park has one of Australia’s largest lion prides, giraffe herds and is soon to host a herd of Asian elephants.
Monarto Safari Resort is due to officially open on May 28.
Premium safari tours will be available for resort guests using custom safari vehicles for dawn and dusk exploration across the plains among free roaming herds of African animals.
Chris Tallent, chief executive of Journey Beyond which has brands including The Ghan, said: “With years of expertise in managing unique tourism operations in remote destinations across Australia, Journey Beyond is exceptionally well-placed to manage this cutting-edge new build.”
The resort also will feature a spa with treatment rooms, two pools, a thermal plunge pool, ice bath, sauna, conference facilities and restaurants, in a park so big it could fit every major Australian zoo and still had land left over.
Zoos South Australia chief executive Elaine Bensted welcomed the partnership.
“Journey Beyond’s extensive knowledge of regional tourism, coupled with a strong focus on sustainability and conservation, will ensure the resort will become a premier destination for nature enthusiasts,” she said.
Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison noted the resort will add another unique attraction to the state “giving visitors more reasons to choose South Australia for their next holiday.”
