Judging by the look of those floor plans, i suspect the bulk of the Eastern wall will be blank!

That's because the eastern wall is on a property boundary. It's part of the fire code.Brando wrote:Judging by the look of those floor plans, i suspect the bulk of the Eastern wall will be blank!

Well, thats just stupid, because all thats behind it is the 5floor Advertiser offices and then the big blank wall of CC1. So they may as well put balconies and windows on cos I dont see the Advertiser offices being demolished anytime soon.

That fly through is stunning. Simply stunning.

Not necessarily major issues but if you are paying the money they want for anything relatively high I believe you would want more than what is to be offerred.
I think the apartment layouts for this development are a bit disapointing. It is a fairly stunning development, yet it seems that the apartments are quite standard. Except for the penthouses of course.

Possibly the most unprofessional piece of marketting ever. Just recieved this in the email:
Spire price increase set for 2008
It has been confirmed by the developer that there is going to be a price increase in Spire come 2008. What this means is that for those of you who have been issued a contract and are in the process of seeing your solicitor and signing your contract, the price that is on your contract is the price you will pay as long as this is completed prior to Christmas. For any new contracts that are issued in 2008, the new pricing structure will be applied. Due to increasing interest rates, construction and labour costs we envisage that this will not be the last price increase in this development.

I got this as well. I dont think they ran it past their marketing people....terribly phrased and doesn't at all give me confidence about the project.Ben wrote:Possibly the most unprofessional piece of marketting ever. Just recieved this in the email:

They haven't managed their marketing campaign all that well from the get-go. Not providing any details/updates when requested, difficult to get a hold of.
If it were someone like the hines group managing this project I dare say it'd be totally sold out by now.

Something doesn't sound right with this. It has this horrbible "Developer going broke" or something feel about it.
[CAN] Re: #Approved: Spire Living - 110m+ - 35lvl apartments
i agree, the marketing of this project has been cheap and nasty!

Got the same info today and like everyone else dismayed by the tone - seems they are getting quite desperate
and probably initial sales have been disappointing. If i was the person who (supposedly) bought a penthouse
for 3.6 million or so i would be hoping that my deposit of 360k has been deposited safely !

Could you imagine if Urban Construct had this tower?? It'd be all over the media, well and truly sold out by now, infact, probably would have been built, considering the tower was first approved in 2004!

Anyone heard anything more about this one ? I haven't received any e-mails
for quite a while. Would they be setting up an office/showroom at some stage
like Precinct, Conservatory etc so the punters can see what's been sold and
what's available ?
