Just terrible...for a "gateway" location anything but iconic...just a mess. I dont know what they can do to redeem it...maybe put a big billboard/plasma screen in front of it to hide it.

Saw this in person on a quick visit to Adelaide last weekend.
I think it is great, daring, different, ugly, and just the kind of variation in style that Adelaide needs.
Congratulations to Channel 7 and whoever the local council is for that area for having the balls to approve this.
Remember it is a small building and the sky is not going to fall in because it looks different...

I'd like to see this building in its entirety, and in the context of its surroundings, before passing judgement. Based on the size expected of a television studio, the posted pictures are only of a fairly small portion of the building (I assume).

Having driven past the building on a weekly basis during its construction, I was never impressed by it. However, I did drive past it earlier tonight (the Channel 7 logo had been put up, and was illuminated). I must say it looked quite good. The 7 logo + Newsbar seemed to make all the difference for me anyway. Lets hope it looks just as good in daylight. No photos though, sorry.
