Demolition already started. Went by early this morning and southern end of existing original building
almost gone. Heavy initial sales - between 70 and 80% already snapped up has allowed work to
progress much earlier than across the road. With the new A.C.C. fun park up and running a lot
of work and changes now in this area

Demolition seems to be quite advanced now.

Photos of the demolition would be appreciated. I'd take em myself, but it's a bit of a drive.

I have demolition of the foyers & awnings starting here (done last weekend & Monday, hadn't changed much on Thursday). http://www.xaragmata.thebbs.org/album/a ... ndex2.html

Thanks.

No worries. I was there this afternoon, & nothing more has been done.

Scaffolding is going up on York St. as we speak along with demolition of the roof structure... Going to be interesting cos it is right outside my apartment. Not exactly the quietest bunch... Photos to come.

Eastern section near HiFi Acoustics has been demolished & cleared in the past few days, revealing the
Bent St car park.

Went up to the highest level of Bent st carpark and looked out west. Apartments facing this way will have a great perspective of the square
and when Conseratory and Aurora are completed the skyline will be awesome

Just wondering if thread title needs to be changed, as demolition/construction works commence.

U/C: 20HS: Crowne Plaza - 15F - 54m / Central Park - 14F - 51m

If the moderators decide for a change of title, may I just correct your post Shuz, as Crowne Plaza will be 53m, and Central park 49m.

Sorry Will, a previous post stated in this thread had 54m and 51m heights. I just used those figures, but I'm sure the ones you have provided are correct. I don't know where to get information from other than this site or SSC.
