Is it the same height as the family court? could do with a little more height, but I guess that's the limit for that section of the CBD?
Supposedly the Commonwealth law Courts are 48m, and the SA Water building is 55.5m. However I don't know whether it's an optical illusion or something, but from most angles the Commonwealth Law Courts look taller.

SA Water HQ is undeniably the nicest building in Adelaide at the moment. It has a much more quality finish than other projects and has exceeded my expectations of modern architecture. The gym is very classy. I like the imposing mass of the silver metallic curved facade over the street frontage onto Angas St.
Brilliant photos as usual Urban, keep up the good work it is much appreciated.

the western glass curtain could potentially make or break the design of this building.
im hoping for the best.

Maybe this building has just become incredibly photogenic towards it's completion, but you guys have taken some great pictures from different angles. Here's a picture I took on New Years Eve, looking East from where Gouger Street meets Victoria Square.

More photo spam... These two buildings go hand in hand IMO. They compliment each other so well and VS1 isn't even finished yet!
There is no way that VS1 is going to be taller than the law courts though - unless they plan some nice cooling stacks a la Santos

Great photo. I love driving past these two buildings. Modern, and they look great. Right where Adelaide needed them too. Hopefully it ignites a whole lot of activity around Vic Square.

I hope they update the streetscape aling Angus Street as well, that would be perfect. New kerbing, underground power lines, fresh asphalt and road markings and nice trees and paving.

The SA Water HQ is a refreshing - commencement towards bigger - bolder - unique Adelaide buildings lacing Vic Square. Yet, I will not be totally satisfied with the area, until something is done about the square itself. To me, it will remain 'hopeful' - 'potentional' or even an 'eyesore' status until serious negotiation and action about Vic Square begins...

I hope these 2 newly constructed buildings put more pressure on the existing tall and tired buildings surrounding Victoria Square to freshen up!
